The Tygerburger, Wednesday 25 January 2006 Chronic disease and a compromised immune system (HIV etc) cause toxins to build up in our bodies. Vicious cycles can develop, due to toxic waste, varying from indigestion to constipation, allergies, asthma, skin eruptions, and mal-absorption of food. Microbial invaders (yeasts and parasites) take over in our intestines after a single course of antibiotics. These invaders also contribute to depression, tiredness, feelings of irritatability, cravings for starchy and sweet foods and mood swings - Did you know there is a brain in our gut? Candida yeast and parasite imbalance in the gut may be the reason you feel so groggy every day. These invaders need to be killed and swept out - and this can only be done through detoxification. Neurotransmitters, chemical messengers that make us feel well, sleep well, work better, and help us to not over indulge during festive seasons, are depleted by the end of the year. We need to take more natural pre-cursors of neurotransmitters that help to form serotonin and opioids, and help to protect us from stress, depression and cravings for sweet things, alcohol, drugs, nicotine and bread products. Failing to replenish our system’s reserves, again causes friendly flora, that coat our intestines, to diet off, with result that the bad guys take over and the negative effect of dysbiosis (imbalance) continues. Bad guys ferment the sugar, starch and alcohol that we take in and excrete toxic waste – a vicious cycle. Doing the “True Detox” at least twice per year is like a good house cleaning. Get the correct herbal combination (Micro-sweep) that not only kills parasites, but also open eggs, especially if there is a history of tick bite or glandular fever, and tropical disease such as bilharzia, malaria or chronic yeast infections.
